Lysyczyn
launches
Tenacious Entertainment
July 30, 2002 (Nashville, TN) – Jeff
Lysyczyn has announced the opening of Tenacious Entertainment, a
company specializing in unique public relations and artist management.
Flagship clients include Capitol Records comedians Roy D. Mercer
and Tim Wilson for publicity, and Wes Cleve and A.J. Clark for career
management.
Lysyczyn, a nine-year veteran
of the music business, most recently worked in artist management,
marketing, and public relations at Trifecta Entertainment, where
he represented clients including Lee Greenwood, Doug Stone, the
Women’s Professional Billiard Association, NWA: Total Nonstop
Action wrestling, and many other entertainers. He was a member
of the A&R Department at Warner Bros. Nashville prior to joining
Trifecta Entertainment.
“I don’t build walls,”
states Lysyczyn. “If I am working for a client, my goal
is to be the missing piece of their career puzzle. I call
it publicity for lack of a better term, but what I really do is
look at the big picture and work with my clients to make it bigger.”
As the name suggests, tenacity
is the key to Lysyczyn’s business plan.
“We often talk about ‘thinking
outside the box,’ but I honestly don’t see a need for
the box at all,” adds Lysyczyn. “If there’s
a great idea that has the potential to take a client’s career
to the next level, I could care less if it falls in the territory
of what has traditionally been a function of marketing, management,
or any other spoke in an artist’s career wheel. If a
client’s fan base is larger, record sales are up, and their
value is raised at the box office after I’ve worked with them,
I’ve done what they hired me to do. Period.”
