Capitol's Unknown Hinson Visits Huntsman
For A "Chart Toppin" Talk With Billy Block
MARCH
5, 2004 (Nashville, TN) – Self-proclaimed King of Country
Western Troubadours and Capitol Records artist Unknown Hinson dropped
by Huntsman Entertainment’s Nashville studio this week for
a visit with syndicated Western Beat Radio host Billy Block. Actually,
it was more of a forced-entry at gunpoint.
Hinson, whose checkered past includes an alleged 30-year term in
prison, basically barged in and demanded that Block grant him an
interview and spin songs from his Capitol debut CD, The Future is
Unknown, set for release on March 23rd. Block, who has hosted Hinson
performances on his weekly Western Beat concerts in Nashville in
the past, accommodated the request and eventually even invited Hinson
to perform a song acoustically for the show, which airs the weekend
of March 13th and 14th on Western Beat affiliates.
