SEVENTH ANNUAL MILLER HARRIS MEMORIAL
GOLF TOURNAMENT

NASHVILLE, TN – The Miller Harris Foundation, a nonprofit organization to benefit music and asthma education, announced the date for the seventh annual Miller Harris Memorial Golf Tournament to be held at Temple Hills Golf Club in Franklin, TN, Monday, September 11, 2006.  Over two hundred and sixteen competitors will participate in the best ball scramble with a shotgun start at 11:30am. 
To kickoff the tournament each year, the committee plans a huge benefit party and silent auction, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Judge Beans, 6pm – 2am for players, friends and the community. 
All proceeds from both the golf tournament and benefit concert/silent auction will go to the Miller Harris Foundation.  The Miller Harris Foundation is a private nonprofit (501c3) organization established in 2002 by family and friends of Miller Harris, who died tragically from an asthmatic attack while preparing for a golf outing with friends at the age of only twenty-five. The Foundation seeks to help fund organizations that were important to Miller, his family and friends, as well as those that educate others that experience the effects of asthma everyday.
